Dermatology Health & Science Specialist AD - Los Angeles E, CA

Pfizer seeks a field-based Dermatology Health & Science Specialist to drive adoption of dermatology therapies through strategic engagement with healthcare providers. The role involves building relationships with dermatologists and office staff, delivering clinical messaging, and navigating reimbursement to improve patient access.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory and account strategies to drive demand and achieve sales objectives in specialty dermatology
• Build trusted relationships with dermatologists, APPs, and office stakeholders through in-person and virtual engagement
• Deliver clinical and product messaging using approved materials to influence prescribing behavior
• Navigate formulary access, reimbursement pathways, and patient support resources to improve patient access
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and support product launches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with associate's, 10+ years with high school diploma)
• Minimum 3 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with clean driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Ability to reside within workable distance of assigned territory and travel to all accounts
• Preferred: 3–5 years specialty sales experience in dermatology, immunology, or inflammation
• Preferred: Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, and specialty reimbursement
• Preferred: Digital engagement capability and hybrid selling model comfort

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base annual salary
