Dermatology Health & Science Specialist - VIT San Diego, CA

Pfizer seeks a field-based dermatology specialist to drive adoption of specialty skin disease therapies through clinical engagement with healthcare providers. The role combines account management, compliance-focused product promotion, and reimbursement navigation across assigned San Diego-area territories.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory and account strategies to drive demand and achieve sales objectives in specialty dermatology
• Build relationships with dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and office staff through in-person and virtual engagements
• Deliver clinical and product messaging using approved materials to influence prescribing decisions
• Navigate formulary access, reimbursement pathways, and patient support resources to improve patient access
• Support product launches and collaborate with cross-functional partners on customer needs and field insights

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (8+ years with associate's, 10+ with high school diploma)
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare provider sales/marketing experience
• Valid US driver's license with clean driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Ability to reside within workable distance of territory and travel to all assigned accounts
• Strong specialty selling skills, disease-state knowledge, and reimbursement navigation capability
• Preferred: 3–5 years specialty sales in dermatology, immunology, or inflammation; comfort with digital engagement tools

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base annual salary; additional sales incentive bonus; overtime pay during training period
