Dermatology Health & Science Specialist (VIT) Richmond, VA

Pfizer seeks a field-based Dermatology Health & Science Specialist to drive adoption of dermatology therapies through strategic engagement with healthcare providers. The role combines specialty sales expertise with clinical knowledge to launch products, navigate reimbursement, and deliver patient access solutions across an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Execute territory and account strategies to drive demand and achieve specialty dermatology sales objectives
• Build trusted relationships with dermatologists, advanced practice providers, and office staff through high-impact engagements
• Deliver clinical and product messaging using approved materials to influence prescribing behavior
• Navigate formulary access, reimbursement pathways, and patient support resources to improve patient access
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners and leverage data to identify growth opportunities and support launches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or associate's with 8+ years work experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare provider experience
• Valid US driver's license with clean driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Strong specialty selling skills, disease-state knowledge, and reimbursement navigation capability
• Ability to engage customers across in-person and digital channels in hybrid selling model
• Preferred: 3–5 years specialty sales in dermatology, immunology, or inflammation; KOL engagement experience

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base annual salary, plus sales incentive bonus; overtime pay during initial training period
