Specialty Business Manager, Derm - Manhattan W, NY

Responsibilities Support account onboarding through education. Engage in clinical selling: deliver clinical value proposition and advance customers along a brand educational continuum. Support initial clinical and patient access education for medical staff. Coordinate and support clinical education opportunities/programs for HCPs (e.g., peer-to-peer). Manage accounts in dermatology practices/clinics/outlets and independent physician offices. Attain territory sales goals/metrics by delivering product volume and executing franchise/brand strategy for the assigned customer segment. Build professional relationships with HCP decision makers and stakeholders to support safe/effective product use. Develop and deliver targeted sales messaging using accurate clinical information, approved materials, and medical reprints. Execute local marketing strategies; build customer engagement by identifying and cultivating relationships and educating local decision makers. Present complex clinical/business information to dermatologists and other decision-making groups. Develop/implement medical education and sponsor programs; stay current on disease states, treatments and business environment. Strategically manage allocated resources (e.g., budgets, managed markets, medical affairs). Follow compliance policies and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. Minimum Requirements (Required) BA/BS. 3+ years successful selling experience in pharma/biotech/medical device and/or relevant clinical/industry experience; or 2+ years successful selling experience at Takeda. Dermatology experience (calling on dermatologists) preferred. Business/strategic planning skills; understanding of managed care. Strong communication and presentation skills; collaboration. Reside within or close proximity to assigned geography. Preferred 5+ years direct selling to HCPs (pharma/biotech/device/healthcare) and/or relevant clinical/industry experience. Dermatologist calling experience. Experience managing complex reimbursement issues. Certifications/Licenses Valid Driver’s License. Travel Drive/fly to accounts; occasional overnight travel 25–50%.
