Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) with an option for 5x8 scheduling.

Job Description

We are seeking a Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in monitoring and managing patients with medical and telemetry needs. This role requires floating to different units as needed, so flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Administer medications and manage patient care using rapid response protocols and code team intervention.
• Provide peripheral line care and management, including oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Med Surg/Tele nursing.
• Valid NY State Nursing License.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Experience with any charting system is required.
