Job Summary
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing the company’s day-to-day operational functions and ensuring efficient business processes. This role works closely with the CEO and executive team to implement strategic plans, drive operational excellence, and support organizational growth. The COO plays a critical role in aligning operations with the company’s long-term vision and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily business operations and ensure efficiency across all departments
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals
Collaborate with the CEO to execute the company’s strategic plan
Establish policies, procedures, and performance standards
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement
Lead and manage department heads (HR, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.)
Optimize internal processes to improve productivity and reduce costs
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies
Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
Drive organizational growth through scalable systems and processes
Foster a high-performance culture and ensure strong internal communication
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
8–15 years of experience in operations, management, or executive leadership roles
Proven experience in scaling operations and managing cross-functional teams
Strong leadership and decision-making skills
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Strong financial and business acumen
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with process improvement and performance management systems
