The school and agency are experienced in working with contracted professionals, providing you with the resources you need for success.

In this role, you'll work a consistent 37.5-hour week—delivering specially designed instruction and collaborating with a dedicated team of educators and support staff. You'll also have the consistent support of your agency and recruiter on every step of your assignment.

In this position, you can expect the following:

• Provide specialized, individualized instruction to elementary students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD)
• Adapt general education curriculum to meet each student’s learning, behavioral, and social needs
• Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate actively with general education teachers, specialists, therapists, and families
• Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings related to student services

Qualifications:

• Active Special Education (SPED) Generalist license (required)
• Previous experience working with elementary-aged students, especially those in ASD classrooms, preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Passion for nurturing students’ growth and progress
