Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Operator – 2nd Shift in Chatsworth, CA

As a CNC Operator, you will:

• Operate CNC milling equipment to manufacture precision metal components.
• Perform machine setup, testing, and production runs while maintaining quality standards.
• Use machinist hand tools, gauges, and measuring instruments to verify part accuracy.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, including metric and standard measurements.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain safe and efficient machine operation while meeting production requirements.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2–5+ years of CNC machine operating experience.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC mills.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and machinist instruments.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.

• Certification in Machine Shop Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or related machinist training.
• Previous mechanical assembly experience.
• Familiarity with precision metal part manufacturing processes.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour

Shift: Shift: 2nd Shift (3:15 PM to 11:45 PM), M- F with overtime on Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
