--Position: Piping Estimator

--Location: Matthews, NC

--Company: Construction Company

--Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing and established company.
This person is responsible for preparing complete estimates for large and complex piping projects by reviewing bid documents, performing take offs, securing pricing, and developing cost analyses for labor, materials, and equipment. The estimator will also prepare RFIs, maintain estimating data, support project documentation, and build strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors while working closely with internal teams to deliver accurate, timely bids.

--Requirements:

--Must have a background in general, commercial, and or industrial construction.

--Must have experience estimating industrial process and utility piping.

--Ideally have worked on estimates for manufacturing, hospitals, mission critical facilities.

--Must be able to read and interpret blueprints & schematics and QA/QC manuals.

--Must have experience performing take-offs.

--Must have worked on projects averaging $10mil or more.

--Must have experience working with vendors and clients.

--Plus if have experience with Trimble, Revit, Bluebeam, Quick Pen, etc.

--Knowledge of ASME codes.
