Assists students in boarding and deboarding the school bus and in all aspects of personal care, including eating, transporting and toileting. Must have the physical ability to lift, pull, and carry 50 lbs. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance. Perform other duties as requested and required. EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION OR TRAINING: High school diploma. Must hold or be eligible to hold a Georgia Paraprofessional License through the Georgia Professional Standards Commission. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a special education paraprofessional preferred, not required.
