You will have access to a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring all necessary documentation is easily managed and compliant with insurance regulations, including Medicaid and Medicare.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience in a mental health counseling role.

• Proficiency in using a computer, reliable internet, and video conferencing tools for telehealth sessions.

• The ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and accountability in managing your caseload.

• A successful completion of a background check.
\n
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings, to best accommodate our clients’ schedules.

Preferred Experience\n

While 2 years of experience is mandatory, candidates with three or more years of mental health counseling experience will be given preference. Specialization in trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or experience with substance abuse treatment is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
