Research Support Specialist

Conduct weekly management, communication, and support of site family coordinators across Hillsborough and Sarasota county community sites Monitor compliance with randomized trial consenting protocols, family data collection procedures, and data integrity standards Track protocol fidelity for field interventionists delivering the FIOC model Review Microsoft Teams session transcripts from in-home coparenting intervention sessions Code sessions for adherence to predetermined deliverables and clinician delivery competence Manage, configuration-test, and triage project REDCap databases Review multi-site data entry, identify anomalies, and structure datasets for ClinicalTrials.gov reporting Coordinate IRB tasks and human-subject research documentation Execute and track Serious Adverse Event reporting processes Maintain Microsoft SharePoint, BOX file systems, and university IT portals Diagnose and resolve trial implementation and data-tracking challenges Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Four years of experience in office or administrative support or research support College education may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis Successful completion of a mandatory Level 2 Department of Children and Families (DCF) background check and associated fingerprinting clearance before the official start date Direct professional experience independently structuring, managing, and triaging multi-user REDCap databases in an academic or clinical trial environment Experience establishing or executing protocol fidelity workflows, including structured evaluation of session transcripts or recordings Experience coordinating field research, clinical trials, or family data collections across separate geographic locations or community partner agencies Hands-on experience setting up, checking, or maintaining randomized trial datasets according to ClinicalTrials.gov criteria Direct experience as a primary study coordinator with accountability for processing and tracking Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) High comfort utilizing Microsoft Teams transcription software, SharePoint data management, and secure BOX cloud storage systems Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in managing and triaging REDCap databases, ensuring compliance with clinical trial protocols, and coordinating multi-site research activities.
