Located in Hanover, PA

Salary: $15-$19 DOE

Hours: Monday through Thursday. 7am-3:30pm. Potential Fridays.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet Sander to join our client's cabinet manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently both on and off the finish line, perform sanding and repair tasks using various tools, and demonstrate a strong understanding of cabinet construction. This role requires the ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain accuracy when reading and marking paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sand and finish wood components using air-assisted sanders, hand sanders, and other tools as required.
• Inspect, repair, and prepare wood products to meet quality standards.
• Work productively on and off the finish line while maintaining a steady workflow.
• Read, interpret, and mark paperwork accurately to ensure correct processing of materials.
• Understand basic cabinet construction to identify defects and perform necessary corrections.
• Use a tape measure confidently and accurately for measurements and quality checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in woodworking, sanding, carpentry, or a related field preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and understand paperwork, instructions, and production documents.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with cabinet construction is a plus.
• Able to use air-assisted sanding tools and hand sanders.
• Proficient in reading a tape measure.
• Reliable, organized, and able to maintain consistent productivity.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed (typically up to 50 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive sanding and hand-tool tasks.
