Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, engaging in regular case discussions and contributing to treatment planning.

• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research through participation in workshops and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• A valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut is essential.

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical best practices in the field of mental health counseling.

• Competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload availability.
