Benefits Manager

Benefits Manager RISE is a mission‑driven organization with more than 30 years of creating opportunities for and with people. As we continue expanding services in a fast‑paced and evolving environment, we’re seeking a skilled Benefits Manager to lead the planning, administration, and continuous improvement of our employee benefit programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, problem solving, and delivering an exceptional employee experience. You will also manage and develop benefits team members, ensuring strong performance, clear communication, and consistent service delivery across all benefit functions. What You’ll Do Manage benefit programs across health & welfare, 401(k), 403(b), disability, life, and ancillary offerings Lead and support benefits team members through coaching, workload oversight, and performance development Oversee daily benefits processing including enrollments, terminations, and claims Support employees by advising on plan details and resolving benefit‑related issues Research and evaluate plans to ensure competitiveness and value Partner with vendors to negotiate, coordinate, and maintain contracts Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate contributions and deductions Maintain compliant records, reports, and documentation Lead Open Enrollment, benefit fairs, health fairs, and wellness initiatives Maintain HRIS data integrity and manage year‑end benefits procedures Oversee ACA data and reporting Provide benefits metrics and KPIs as needed Qualifications & Experience Mid‑level benefits management experience required; degree in a related field preferred Progressive experience with employee benefits, including 401(k) administration Experience with self funded plans preferred Strong knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, IRS Section 125 High proficiency in MS Word and Excel Experience with HRIS systems; Paycom preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage projects independently Experience supervising or mentoring team members preferred What We Offer RISE provides a generous and comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Optional supplemental benefits 401(k) with company match Paid sick and vacation time Paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Employee assistance program Paid jury duty Accessibility & Accommodation If you require reasonable accommodation during the application or hiring process, please contact us through one of the following methods: Fax: View phone number on click.appcast.io Mail: 4554 E Inverness Ave, Mesa, AZ 85206 – Attn: Human Resources Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io (Option 1 – Disability Accommodation Requests Only) Equal Employment Opportunity RISE is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
