Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnoses.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs and preferences of each client, utilizing best practices.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in your sessions to promote effective coping strategies and personal growth.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care techniques, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. The therapist will work with diverse populations, including those from challenging backgrounds such as homelessness, domestic abuse, and refugee status. Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
