Maintenance of facilities and equipment, and direction of the personnel involved in all of these processes.Essential FunctionsDirect the receiving of all materials and corresponding paperwork involved in this process.Direct the shipping of all materials either on company or customer vehicles, and the paperwork involved.Coordinate the organization and layout of warehouse facilities and grounds.Perform regular inspections of the equipment and facilities to keep these safe and operational.Coordinate cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance efforts as needed.Supervise the personnel involved in the above processes.Administer forklift training test to new employees and to present employees on an annual basis.Coordinate and conduct safety meetings under the direction of the local safety committee.Conduct, with your supervisor, a minimum of semi-annual performance reviews with each employee.Maintain reports and keep records as directed.
