Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, ensuring a thorough understanding of their situations and needs.

• Develop individualized therapy plans using evidence-based practices tailored to clients experiencing depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders.

• Engage with clients regularly through scheduled therapy sessions, providing them with ongoing support and strategies to cope with their challenges.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions while employing culturally responsive techniques to create an inclusive environment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in the EHR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

• Effectively refer clients to external healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists and specialists, when necessary to support comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse client base that encompasses various demographics and backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience in mental health counseling is essential.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders and a strong grasp of evidence-based treatment methodologies.
