Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and facilitate both educational and therapeutic group sessions for patients, documenting their goals and responses to these activities to tailor further treatment appropriately.

• Participate in treatment-planning meetings, providing constructive feedback regarding patient progress and any observed resistance, ensuring clear documentation of updates to each individual's treatment plans.
\n
• Effectively manage resistance and conflict by employing therapeutic techniques to reduce tension and help clients reassess harmful thoughts and behaviors.
\n
• Maintain meticulous patient records that adhere to established social work and medical standards, documenting assessments, intervention strategies, patient/family involvement, and case closures.
\n
• Stay current with the latest DSM diagnostic criteria for mental health disorders and apply this knowledge in developing comprehensive treatment plans.
\n
• Utilize principles of behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapeutic methods in a way that meets the diverse needs of our patients.
\n
• Gather detailed data through effective interviewing and chart reviews to assess the medical, social, and emotional needs of patients and their families.
\n
• Formulate and routinely update treatment plans based on ongoing psychosocial assessments, considering patients' strengths, needs, and individual cultural or spiritual values.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals in need of detox services, many of whom may be experiencing co-occurring mental health disorders. You will provide compassionate care and guidance, helping patients navigate the complexities of their situations and setting them up for a successful recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field is required.
\n
• Must hold an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
\n
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

• Capability to set and maintain appropriate boundaries with clients, ensuring a professional therapeutic relationship.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certifications are required.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a detox or substance abuse treatment setting is highly preferred.

• A background working with diverse client populations, particularly related to issues of addiction and mental health.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems for maintaining patient documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
