You Are You are a strategist and growth leader focused on identifying and advancing growth opportunities to drive organizational success. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, quantifying, and shaping new growth opportunities for clients. You will be responsible for formulating comprehensive strategies that leverage client insights, market trends, and human behavior to target and capture high‑potential opportunities. Your day‑to‑day work will involve leading collaboration with product managers and account leaders to bring new business concepts, products, or services to market and to impactfully position Accenture to capture new opportunities in the federal market. To excel in this position, you will benefit from hands‑on experience with business development processes, proposal writing, and go‑to‑market strategies. Familiarity with strategic planning, project management methodologies, and facilitation techniques will be essential as you guide teams and stakeholders through complex growth initiatives. Exposure to government contracting processes and market analysis tools will further enhance your ability to navigate and capitalize on diverse market environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to deliver compelling client‑facing presentations, will be key assets as you influence decision‑makers and drive projects forward. The work Leverage client, market, and human insights to develop growth strategies and shape new business, product or service offerings to take to market. Manage the sales pipeline, including identifying, quantifying and qualifying growth opportunities and maintaining alignment with leadership. Own and manage execution of strategy to increase the probability of win (PWin) through strategic capture planning and proposal execution. Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team while setting clear performance metrics aligned with company revenue and profitability goals. Actively participate in critical client meetings and support major capture efforts as a player‑coach. Collaborate internally with solution architects and delivery teams to create innovative, relevant, and client‑focused IT service offerings. Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients by addressing their critical IT modernization and digital transformation challenges. Deeply understand the unique missions, funding cycles, and technology needs of the client. Stay updated on federal acquisition regulations, emerging IT trends such as Cloud, AI/ML, and Cybersecurity, and competitor activities. Here’s what you need Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Minimum of 5 years of client‑facing experience in the federal or public sector developing and delivering solutions Minimum of 3 years of experience: Leading teams Supporting business development efforts (e.g., writing proposals, identifying and supporting development of follow‑on consulting opportunities) Eligibility Requirements US Citizenship, no dual citizens As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is $106,300—$221,100 USD.
