Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and treating patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery in an outpatient environment.
• Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific therapeutic goals, utilizing various treatment methods such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities.
• Implementing treatment strategies that enhance mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional independence, ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes clearly and accurately within our electronic health record system.
• Conducting regular reassessments to modify treatment plans as necessary, adapting to the evolving needs of each patient.
• Providing education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on effective self-management techniques and use of assistive devices when required.
• Maintaining professional development through ongoing education, attending workshops, and staying current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physical Therapists serve a diverse clientele involving both children and adults, each presenting unique challenges and recovery needs. You will be instrumental in helping patients achieve their rehabilitative goals, whether that involves post-operative recovery, rehabilitation from sports injuries, or managing chronic pain conditions. Your empathetic approach will be essential in building trust and rapport with patients, enhancing their motivation and compliance during treatment.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate of Physical Therapy preferred).
• Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records.
• Active CPR certification.
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in various treatment scenarios.

Preferred Experience

Although two years of experience in physical therapy practice is required, recent graduates willing to learn with an eagerness to seek mentorship and guidance may also be considered for this role. Familiarity with outpatient physical therapy settings and experience in treating a broad spectrum of conditions will be highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
