Work Environment

The position is based in our outpatient office located in Carteret, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based techniques, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to promote recovery and enhance mobility.
• Regularly track patient progress, documenting treatments and responses, and adjusting plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and their families on conditioning programs, home exercises, and the effective use of assistive devices to foster independence and improve quality of life.
• Maintain up-to-date professional knowledge through workshops and continued education, ensuring adherence to best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be working with a variety of patient demographics, including children, adults, and seniors who may be recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.

• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills for maintaining patient records.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist is preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.
