Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at our Newark facility, you will deliver care onsite, engaging directly with patients in a supportive environment tailored to meet the needs of those striving for recovery. The center operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. Our facilities feature the latest rehabilitation technologies and amenities designed to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Comply with state practice acts and governing laws, ensuring safe and effective physical therapy practices.

• Thoroughly examine and evaluate patients, developing individualized treatment plans focused on improving their functional abilities and quality of life.

• Conduct evaluations that include reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting results to inform treatment strategies.

• Implement therapeutic protocols based on assessment findings, collaborating with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

• Maintain open lines of communication with healthcare colleagues to assess patient progress, modifying care plans as needed.

• Oversee discharge planning and provide comprehensive follow-up care, ensuring thorough documentation throughout the patient's journey.

• Stay current with training and compliance regarding state, local, and federal regulations to enhance service delivery.

• Engage in facility meetings and contribute to initiatives aimed at improving patient accessibility and outcomes, such as Access NRH.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Fragile population we serve primarily consists of patients managing orthopedic conditions. You will work closely with individuals recovering from surgery, sports-related injuries, or chronic pain syndromes, utilizing both emotional support and physical rehabilitation techniques.

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, candidates must possess:

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.

• A valid state license to practice physical therapy.

• Two years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy settings.

• A current CPR certification to ensure safety standards are maintained.

Preferred Experience

We value experience in evidence-based practices and familiarity with electronic health record systems. Experience in specialized therapy techniques or modalities is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package which includes:
