As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will use your Accounting skills to review, process and execute timely payment of vendor invoices related to the operations division, while thriving in a company that encourages you to learn and grow with us. Essential Functions: Maintain general accounts payable functions by entering bills and printing checks on a bi-weekly basis Process invoices and print checks for monthly forcible detainers Process security deposit returns Review, analyze and process utility bills for multi-family housing Process 1099 forms annually Requirements: Bachelor Degree [Accounting preferred] Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes and basic Accounting principals Good communication, organizational, and time management skills Ability to analyze invoices and read ledgers Strong attention to detail Proficiency computer skills with ability to easily learn new software, QuickBooks experience preferred A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic 1-2 years' experience in bookkeeping or similar role with high quantity of accounts preferred Drug-free and felony-free status with a valid driver’s license Work Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay starting at $24/hour, depending on experience Comprehensive benefits after 30 days, including: 50% reimbursement for eligible out-of-pocket medical expenses.
