A local, stable, family-owned specialty construction company that has served Central Kentucky for over 20 years is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Lexington.

 

This is a 100% on-site, in-office position with a direct path to full-time hours and an Office Manager trajectory as our regional expansion continues.

 

Schedule & Location

· Hours: Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM – 5:30 PM (32.5 hours/week to start)

· Location: 100% In-Office in Lexington, KY (No remote option)

· Pay Range: $22.00 – $27.00 / hour

· Benefits: Retirement plan & Paid Time Off (PTO)

What You Will Do

· Financial Management: Perform daily QuickBooks Online (QBO) processing across two operating entities, including AR/AP, bank and credit card reconciliations, and payroll processing.

· Late Afternoon Phone Coverage: Assist handling inbound customer inquiries primarily in the late afternoon after staff transition out for the day.

· Office Administration: Assist with general account oversight and support daily business administration alongside our owner-led management team.

 

Required Qualifications

· 2+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online (QBO) experience (must be proficient in reconciliations, AR/AP, and payroll).

· High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and financial data accuracy.

· A genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service.
