Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions, maintaining a focus on the therapeutic goals outlined in the client’s treatment plan.

• Monitor and document client progress accurately and timely, completing progress notes at the end of each shift, reflecting the client's journey towards recovery.

• Facilitate the orientation process for clients and their families as they engage with our mental health services, ensuring a smooth and welcoming transition.

• Assist clients with personal needs when necessary, displaying empathy and respect to build trust within the therapeutic relationship.

• Advocate for the necessary resources or services that will augment care for assigned clients when required.
\n
• Manage crisis situations effectively, demonstrating proficiency in recognizing signs of aggressive or harmful behavior, as well as implementing de-escalation techniques.

• Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate client documentation and coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members.

• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills in crisis management, treatment planning, and therapeutic modalities.

This role focuses on providing mental health services to a diverse group of clients, including individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds. The clinician will have the opportunity to work with adults, children, and families seeking therapy for various issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and other mental health disorders. We emphasize the importance of cultural competence and adaptability to meet our clients' varied needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold a valid license in California as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is essential to ensure a solid foundation in clinical practice.

• Demonstrated experience in providing marriage and family therapy to diverse populations, including adults, children, and varying family dynamics.

• Knowledgeable in diagnosis and treatment planning as per the DSM-5 criteria.

• Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

• Ability to thrive both independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Flexibility to adapt to varied schedules and changing client needs is crucial for success in this role.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems for managing patient information.

Compensation and Benefits\n
