TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of PCU experience required. License: Pending License accepted. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS required. BSN preferred. Must-Have: - Ventilation experience required. - IV start experience required. - Telemetry experience required. - Long term vent management experience required. - Weaning and pulmonary rehab experience required. - Trach management experience required. - Phlebotomy experience required. - EKG interpretation and management experience required. Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a step-down unit. Patient ratios will be 1:2-3 for all shifts. Clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs, including to medical-surgical units. Weekend work will be required every other week. The nurse will manage ventilated patients alongside respiratory therapists. The role requires accessing and managing ports, central line care, and telemetry monitoring. Applicants must have experience with trach care and management. The nurse will participate in the interpretation of dysrhythmias and management of cardiac drips, excluding titration. Phlebotomy skills are essential in this role. This position is for adult patients with conditions requiring pulmonary rehabilitation. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment. All required skills must be met prior to submission. The role does not require on-call availability. Pre-approved time off must be finalized prior to submission. Compliance with health protocols is mandatory.
