We are looking for an experienced Copier/Printer Technician to provide on-site service and support for copier, printer, and multifunction office equipment throughout the San Diego area. This is a field-based position where technicians are dispatched directly from their home to customer locations. The ideal candidate has a proven history of repairing and maintaining copier and printer equipment and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain copiers, printers, and multifunction devices.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability.
- Install, configure, and test office equipment at customer locations.
- Respond promptly to scheduled service calls throughout the San Diego area.
- Document service activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment issues and recommended solutions.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools and service parts.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance while representing the company.
Qualifications
- Required: Previous hands-on experience as a Copier/Printer Technician.
- Must be able to demonstrate a verifiable work history servicing copier and printer equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify required).
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Employment Type
- Temporary-to-Hire
- 90-day temporary assignment with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance.
Additional Information
- This position is based out of San Diego, CA .
- Technicians will work from home and be dispatched directly to customer sites.
- Frequent local travel is required. Employees must be comfortable driving to customer locations throughout the service area.
- A driving agreement and successful completion of the company's onboarding process are required prior to employment.
