About the Role
The Company is seeking a Deputy Chief of Staff to join the Office of Community Safety. The successful candidate will serve as a key strategic and operational partner, supporting the Commissioner in managing executive priorities, strategic initiatives, and day-to-day responsibilities. This role involves preparing briefing materials, meeting agendas, and presentations, as well as conducting research and policy analysis to support executive decision-making. The Deputy Chief of Staff will also coordinate with the Chief of Staff on agency-wide strategic priorities, manage the Commissioner's portfolio, and ensure effective execution across the office. Applicants for the Deputy Chief of Staff position at the company should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a Bachelor's degree required, and at least 5 years of professional experience in government, public administration, public policy, strategy, project management, operations, or a related area. The role demands a candidate with strong organizational and project management skills, excellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional written and verbal communication, as well as strong relationship-building and collaboration skills, are essential. The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate needs, think strategically, and execute effectively in a fast-paced environment, while managing confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
