Campus Behavioral Health Navigator

Dell Medical School is seeking four Campus Behavioral Health Navigators. This position has an end date of 08/31/27 but may be renewable based upon availability of funding, work performance, and progress toward goals.

The Campus Behavioral Health Navigator supports access to behavioral health services for students and families by coordinating school‑based and virtual care activities, facilitating tele behavioral health appointments, and navigating patients through intake, referral, and follow‑up processes. This role serves as the primary non‑clinical point of contact between the health system and participating schools, ensuring operational alignment, documentation accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA, program standards, and applicable school district policies. The Navigator works closely with behavioral health clinicians, care coordinators, program leadership, school administrators, and families to reduce barriers to care, support engagement in virtual behavioral health services (e.g., TCHATT), and promote continuity of care.

Salary Range: $44,622 + depending on qualifications

Working Environment/Equipment: Standard office equipment, repetitive use of a keyboard, use of manual dexterity, occasional weekend, overtime and evening work to meet deadlines, may be exposed to such occupational hazards as communicable diseases, blood borne pathogens, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, hazardous medications and disoriented or combative patients, or others.
