Head of Retail, TMT, Travel

Position Summary Reporting directly to the Head of Enterprise Sales, the Head of Retail, TMT, and Travel Vertical Sales will lead teams focused on building critical business relationships with advertisers and their agency partners. The team will focus on driving growth from a named account list with potential to expand across new products and business lines. This leader should have a passion for streaming TV and a pulse for new multi‑channel advertising technology. Responsibilities Lead a high‑growth team that drives outsized growth from large customers. Develop high‑level relationships with advertisers and their agencies, acting as a trusted consultant to optimize their advertising growth. Create mid‑term and long‑term strategic plans to grow the book of business both on and off the Smart TV platform. Be responsible for developing talent on the team and building growth plans to ensure all members are on a high‑performing trajectory. Serve as the Samsung Ads brand ambassador in the region, establishing a position as a thought leader and market expert. Advocate for customers internally, championing Smart TV advertising strategy across Samsung stakeholders. Collaborate with Commercialization, Product Marketing, and Ads Product & Engineering teams to articulate customer needs. Use sales systems to improve productivity and demonstrate a track record of revenue growth from stagnant categories. Scale enterprise customers and bring valuable experience in Retail/TMT/Travel and large brand advertisers. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or other advanced degree a plus. 10+ years of industry or related experience with a significant portion spent at a video publisher, DSP, or SSP. 5+ years of sales leadership experience focused on driving large customer relationships and growing talent. Deep understanding of the video and connected TV media ecosystem. Builders’ mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and success in internal and external relationship management. Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and follow‑through. Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms in person, over the phone, or video conference. For candidates based in NY, salary range: $250,000 – $285,000.
