Workers' Compensation Paralegal (Haddonfield, NJ Based): Listed on both the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Places to Work as well as the Philadelphia Inquirer’s Top Workplaces, Pond Lehocky is the largest workers’ compensation and Social Security disability firm in the Philadelphia region. Pond Lehocky Giordano seeks a Paralegal to join our highly successful workers' compensation team. Employee will need to be able to work in a face‑paced environment, have a strong ability to multitask, be a team player and have a positive attitude. Most importantly we are looking for someone who will have empathy for our clients and great customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Prepare for all hearings; mediations; fact witness depositions (including preparation of exhibits) Review Stipulations AWW/TTD calculations Review daily checks (fees, costs) Attend paralegal team meetings via Teams Draft letters and documents Answer calls from adjusters, opposing counsel, clients and healthcare providers Handle daily uploading and obtaining of relevant case information from the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation management system, WCAIS or the State equivalent system Enter attorney appearance via mail and/or WCAIS Answer attorney direct line and monitors email; serving as liaison between attorney and clients by resolving routine and some complex inquiries Prepare responses to counsel, adjusters, and judges Scan documents into client files Schedule client appointments and/or telephone conferences Maintain client’s file in case management system, updating information as necessary Other Responsibilities & Duties may be assigned. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in a paralegal role required; Minimum of 2 years of New Jersey Workers Compensation experience strongly encouraged; College degree or paralegal certificate preferred; Experience with Litify Case Management preferred.
