Logistics Coordinator

Ethnix Group is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Erlanger, KY. This role is responsible for coordinating daily transportation operations, monitoring route performance, providing real-time driver support, and ensuring efficient deliveries while maintaining operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has experience in logistics or transportation, excels in a fast-paced environment, and can effectively communicate with drivers, planners, and operations teams to resolve issues and keep deliveries on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily transportation operations and route performance.
• Provide real-time support for roadside incidents, breakdowns, and service disruptions.
• Coordinate hotel accommodations and driver support when necessary.
• Track routes, transfers, and delivery status to ensure on-time performance.
• Support route planning and provide operational assistance when needed.
• Generate operational reports and communicate route updates to the Logistics team.
• Coordinate with Operations regarding route changes, equipment issues, and delivery performance.
• Monitor Hours of Service (HOS) and support compliance with company procedures.
• Utilize company systems including Samsara, Web Limena, Smart Delivery, Route4Me, and other transportation management platforms.
• Ensure assigned routes are completed and properly closed each day.
• Process customer payments when applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a related logistics/transportation role is REQUIRED.
• Experience with FMCSA and DOT regulations is PREFERRED.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is REQUIRED.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, dispatch, routing, and driver support.
• Proficiency with transportation management systems and logistics software.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
