Helping Harvest is seeking a part-time Business Support Associate to join our team. The Business Support Associate provides essential financial, administrative, and operational support to our Business Office. This role combines routine Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tasks with general office administration. Your efficiency ensures smooth daily financial workflows and directly supports our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable (AP) & Expense Processing
• Enter invoice data into the accounting system and circulate to the appropriate personnel for approval of payment.
• Check staff expense reports and mileage claims for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain organized vendor payment files.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) & Cash Handling
• Process donor checks, agency payments, and cash contributions.
• Prepare bank deposits.
• Maintain organized deposit files.
• Assist with generating and sending invoices to our agencies and partners, as required.
• Office & Business Administration
• Manage incoming mail and route to the proper staff members.
• Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as appropriate.
• Maintain secure, confidential personnel files.
• Assist with new hires by assembling onboard packets.
• Other duties as requested.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
• 12 years of experience handling basic AP/AR, bookkeeping, or clerical work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff and management.
• Ability to maintain strictly confidential information.
• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Professional and reliable.
