Position summary The Chef supports kitchen leadership, food quality, service execution, and the development of a dependable kitchen team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support food preparation, station execution, and consistent presentation. Help communicate priorities and standards across the kitchen team. Monitor food quality, freshness, organization, and safe handling procedures. Support training, station readiness, and a steady service rhythm. Work with leadership to identify operational needs and opportunities to improve. Qualifications & Experience Professional kitchen experience and a strong understanding of food preparation are expected. Ability to lead by example and communicate clearly during service. Strong attention to quality, cleanliness, consistency, and teamwork. Reliable attendance and flexibility for a restaurant schedule. Physical requirements This role includes standing, walking, bending, reaching, and working around kitchen equipment. The kitchen environment includes heat, noise, sharp equipment, and changing service demands.
