About the Role
The Company is in search of a VP/Channel Leader for Equipment Finance Broker Partnerships. This senior-level business development role is pivotal in building and scaling a broker channel that focuses on equipment finance and working capital solutions. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing, expanding, and optimizing relationships with equipment finance brokers, with a strong emphasis on driving origination volume. This is a high-ownership, build-from-scratch opportunity that requires a hands-on approach to start, with the potential to evolve into a broader channel leadership position. Key responsibilities include executing a go-to-market strategy, serving as the primary relationship manager for broker partners, and collaborating with internal teams to support underwriting and program development. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in equipment finance, broker channel development, commercial finance, or related financial services. An established network within the equipment finance broker community is strongly preferred. The role demands a proven track record in originating transactions through broker or wholesale channels, a strong understanding of equipment finance structures, credit fundamentals, and short-term business lending products. The ideal candidate will have experience in both equipment-based lending and working capital solutions, the ability to manage relationships across a high-volume partner ecosystem, and possess strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. An entrepreneurial mindset and the willingness to travel frequently for partner meetings and industry events are also essential.
