Our client,global nonprofit is seeking a Processing Archivist to join their team.. The ideal candidate will have Strong project management, analytical and Critical thinking and effective communication skills.
Job Title: Archivist - 1 year position
Location: Washington DC
Pay Range: $35 - $40
What's the Job?
Create and execute a comprehensive processing plan for the analog materials
Arrange, describe, and catalog archival materials in accordance with Describing Archives standard
Develop detailed catalog records and findings aid to support discovery
Process photographic materials including slides, negatives, prints, notebooks, gear and ephemera
What's Needed?
Degree in Library Science, Archives, or Museum Studies
3 or more years of professional archival management experience
Strong organizational, analytical and research skills
Knowledge of collection management software
