Human Resources (HR) Manager

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to establish and lead a dedicated HR function for a growing organization in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting and can create structure, improve people processes, and support leaders across recruiting, employee development, and compliance. The role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to shape HR strategy while serving as a trusted resource for managers and employees.Responsibilities:• Create and implement core HR programs, policies, and workflows for an organization building its first dedicated human resources function.• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and improving hiring practices to support continued company growth.• Manage onboarding activities that help new hires integrate smoothly into the business and understand expectations, culture, and available resources.• Partner with leaders to design and support employee performance review processes, offering guidance on feedback, evaluations, and development planning.• Develop compensation structures and salary guidelines that bring consistency and clarity to role leveling and pay decisions.• Oversee HR operations and compliance activities, helping the company maintain sound employment practices as it grows across multiple offices.• Serve as the primary coordinator for benefits administration by working with external brokers and internal stakeholders on medical, dental, vision, and retirement programs.• Evaluate and enhance HR technology and system usage, including expanding capabilities that support payroll, documentation, and performance management.• Build training and development initiatives such as internship partnerships and other programs that strengthen talent pipelines and employee growth.
