General Manager - High-Volume Restaurant
A national leader in travel hospitality is seeking a dynamic General Manager to oversee operations at a busy, high-volume restaurant located within a major travel plaza. - Minimum 3 years of experience as a restaurant general manager in a high-volume setting ($5M+ in annual sales )
- Track record of strong leadership and employee development
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- High-energy, hands-on management style
- Ability to work an on-site, flexible schedule (including days, nights, weekends, and holidays), approximately 50 hours per week
- High school diploma or GED
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift at least 20 pounds
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency in computer systems for reporting and scheduling
- Experience recruiting, training, and retaining top-performing teams
- Direct daily operations and ensure all brand, quality, and safety standards are met
- Lead, develop, and motivate a large team to exceed sales and service goals
- Manage budgets, inventory, food and labor costs, and financial reporting
- Hire, coach, train, and conduct performance management for associates and managers
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction
- Collaborate with HR, finance, loss prevention, facilities, and brand partners
- Oversee compliance with all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal regulations
