I’m reaching out with a CRNA locum opportunity in Richmond, VA . This is a Level 1 trauma center and academic facility with a burn center and 30 ORs. The role offers competitive hourly pay, flexible shift structures, and no call requirements .

Opportunity Details

\n

\n
• Location: Richmond, VA 
\n
• Start Date: December 1, 2025 (credentialing 45–90 days)
\n
• Rate: $210–$225/hr + Travel/Lodging
\n
• Contract: 6 months preferred | 13-week minimum
\n
• Schedule:
  \n • 3x12s or 4x10s (3–4 shifts per week)
  \n • 7a–7p or 11a–11p
  \n • Minimum 2 Fridays scheduled every 4 weeks
  \n • No call | Weekend shifts optional
\n
• Orientation: 2 full weeks required (4x10s first week)
\n

Clinical Details

\n

\n
• Level 1 trauma with burn center | 837 beds
\n
• Volume: 100 cases/day
\n
• Case mix: General, trauma, endo ( must be able to do endo cases )
  \n • No OB, No Peds, No Cardiac
\n
• Care Team Model: MD directed, with escalation guidelines in place
\n
• Support staff: MDs, CRNAs, residents, anesthesia techs
\n
• Must be comfortable working with residents
\n
• EMR: Epic (preferred experience)
\n

✅ Requirements

\n

\n
• Board Certified CRNA
\n
• Active VA license (will wait for license; credentialing cannot start until issued)
\n
• ACLS & BLS required | COVID & Flu vaccines required
\n
• NPDB self-query required for name clear
\n
• Prefer 2+ years’ experience
\n

Compensation & Travel

\n

\n
• Hourly Pay: $210–$225/hr
\n
• Travel: Lodging capped at $160/night (affiliated hotels preferred), Flights and car rental/mileage
\n
• Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
\n
• No locals (must be 50+ miles away)
\n
