Leave Replacement Administrative Assistant
The Township of Union Board of Education is seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and qualified Leave Replacement Administrative Assistant Anticipated Dates: June 2026 - December 2026
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent training.
- Minimum of three years of successful experience in a related secretarial or office position.
- Ability to communicate and interact with individuals at all levels of the organization including but not limited to staff, parents/guardians, students and outside vendors as deemed necessary.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all district matters.
- Evidence of strong written, verbal communication and organizational skills.
- Highly proficient in the use of current Microsoft Office Applications, Google Workspace or an equivalent computer program.
- Experience in Genesis/SchoolFi preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment with great attention to detail.
- Meet such alternatives to the above qualifications as District Leadership may find appropriate and acceptable.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Handles inquiries involving confidential or sensitive topics.
- Assembles confidential material according to instructions, prepares summaries of documents, and maintains files.
- Types correspondence, notices and reports, and verifies the accuracy of the work done.
- Schedules and coordinates appointments.
- Maintains records and files, ensuring that the material is properly marked, secured and accessible for immediate use by administrators.
- Performs specialized assignments as required, including other tasks related to the efficient operation of the office as assigned.
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned by District Leadership.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
