About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Controller to lead its financial operations with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and impactful management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and reporting activities, managing financial operations across diverse investment portfolios, and collaborating with investment and advisory teams to produce detailed performance analytics and reports. This role also involves supporting liquidity management, capital planning, and forecasting, as well as coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA designation preferred, and 8-12 years' of relevant experience, particularly in fund and partnership accounting within alternatives such as private equity or real assets. Key responsibilities for the Vice President, Controller include executing financial closes, preparing financial statements, managing partner capital accounts, and supporting quarterly valuation processes. The role requires expertise in US GAAP and partnership accounting principles, advanced skills in Excel, and familiarity with accounting systems used in the industry. The candidate should be able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle sensitive financial matters with discretion. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills are essential, as is a commitment to the values of excellence, teamwork, and integrity in financial management.
