SpaDerma is Chicago’s leading medical spa, providing Cosmetic Injectables, Laser Hair Removal, and Advanced Skincare with more than 20 years of experience. Our team of nearly 150 employees across five locations includes highly skilled Aestheticians and Injectors who provide effective treatments using some of the most advanced technology available.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Social Media Manager to lead SpaDerma’s social media strategy, content development, community growth, provider social media program, influencer and ambassador initiatives, and social performance reporting.

This individual will oversee SpaDerma’s primary social channels while also helping drive performance across the broader network of SpaDerma-associated accounts, including the individual professional accounts of 80+ Aestheticians and Injectors. The role requires a combination of strategic leadership and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Management

• Develop and execute SpaDerma’s social media strategy in alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
• Manage SpaDerma’s social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms, including content calendars and publishing.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice, visual identity, and messaging across all SpaDerma-associated social accounts.

Content Creation & Community Management

• Lead the creation of engaging photo, video, educational, promotional, and trend-driven content.
• Plan and execute recurring content shoots across SpaDerma locations, events, partnerships, trainings, and activations.
• Manage community engagement and identify high-quality user and provider-generated content for amplification.
• Develop social campaigns and giveaways that support engagement, audience growth, brand awareness, and partnerships. 

Provider Social Media Program

• Lead SpaDerma’s social media program for 80+ Aestheticians and Injectors with individual professional SpaDerma accounts.
• Develop ongoing training, coaching, resources, and content opportunities to increase provider participation and performance.
• Partner with providers to translate their expertise and personalities into engaging, brand-aligned social content.
• Establish goals and evaluate provider participation, account growth, engagement, and content performance. 

Analytics & Performance

• Establish, track, and report on KPIs including audience growth, reach, engagement, traffic, conversions, lead generation, and ROI.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of social campaigns, influencer and ambassador programs, giveaways, and other initiatives.
• Use performance insights to continuously optimize content, platform strategy, posting cadence, and campaigns.
• Present key results and recommendations to leadership and connect social performance to website traffic, bookings, and broader marketing outcomes.

Influencer & Ambassador Programs

• Develop and manage SpaDerma’s influencer and ambassador strategies, including recruitment, relationships, campaigns, deliverables, and performance.
• Coordinate influencer visits, treatments, content requirements, and partnership deliverables.
• Review program KPIs to assess effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement. 

PR, Events & Partnerships

• Serve as a key liaison with SpaDerma’s PR agency to coordinate social opportunities, influencer initiatives, media moments, and brand activations.
• Partner with the marketing team on events, partnerships, sponsorships, and community initiatives, developing social strategies that maximize awareness and engagement.
• Attend and capture content at approximately 2+ events per month, including occasional evening and weekend events. 

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Manage and provide direction to designated marketing team members supporting social media and content initiatives.
• Establish priorities, delegate projects, provide feedback, and support team development.
• Partner closely with the Marketing Director and collaborate across marketing, operations, providers, leadership, agencies, and vendors.
• Develop scalable processes and guidelines to support the continued growth of SpaDerma’s social media program.

Paid Advertising

• Support or manage paid advertising across Meta and Google, including campaign strategy, creative coordination, optimization, and reporting.
• Analyze campaign performance and recommend opportunities to improve conversions, efficiency, and return on ad spend. 

Additional Responsibilities

• Support additional marketing initiatives and special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

• Demonstrated success managing and growing professional brand social media accounts.
• Experience measuring campaign performance, KPIs, conversions, and ROI.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of projects from strategy through execution.
• Available to work some evenings and weekends. 

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
• 4+ years of professional social media, digital marketing, or related experience preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience managing influencer, creator, or ambassador programs preferred.
• Experience working with PR agencies, creative agencies, or external marketing partners preferred.
• Experience with Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads preferred.
• Experience within beauty, aesthetics, skincare, wellness, hospitality, luxury, or another consumer-focused industry is a plus.
