Customer Service Professional Troost Cemeteries, Inc. is a longstanding, highly respected, family-owned business consisting of nine cemeteries in Chicagoland. Our locations include Arlington Cemetery, Clarendon Hills Cemetery, Elm Lawn Memorial Park, Fairview Memorial Park, Lincoln Memorial Park, Mount Hope Cemetery, Mount Greenwood Cemetery, Parkholm Cemetery and River Hills Memorial Park. We are seeking a full-time Customer Service Professional in Merrionette Park, IL to provide caring assistance to families in need and provide thoughtful guidance to those in advance of need. Once the training period is complete, compensation is commission-based. During the training period, compensation is $20.00 per hour. Must be willing to work on Saturday in exchange for a day off during the week. The expected compensation once training is complete is between $65,000 - $95,000 annually. Responsibilities: Make sales presentations and sell funeral services and products Prospect and obtain referrals Answer customers questions about products, prices and availability Contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products or services can meet their needs Complete paperwork neatly and accurately, including all interment verification procedures Answer telephone inquiries about cemetery products and services for both pre-need planning and at need preparations Make appointments for families to come to the cemetery for arrangements Qualifications: Sales experience helpful but not mandatory Must be comfortable walking the grounds with families Desire to help others and earn a competitive income Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Creative, outgoing and energetic Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful but not mandatory Excellent organizational skills Good interpersonal and communication skills Passionate approach to customer service Strong attention to detail Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Merrionette Park, IL (Required) We use technology to support administrative and operational efficiency.
