Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services tailored to those seeking outpatient care, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct sessions remotely.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational and mental health needs, and develop personalized treatment plans that include measurable goals.

• Leverage your expertise in family systems theory to facilitate conversations around relationship dynamics, communication patterns, and family stressors, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.

• Actively provide crisis intervention services, ensuring immediate support for clients facing emotional distress while implementing safety protocols.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential client records and treatment plans, adhering to legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Empower clients by educating them on effective communication strategies and relationship-building skills, aiming to foster resilience and improved emotional health.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including other therapists, medical staff, and social workers, to provide integrated care for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LMFT at Mind Experts Counseling Center, you will work primarily with diverse populations including individuals, couples, and families facing various relational and psychological challenges. Our clients may experience issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. Your role will be instrumental in guiding them toward healing, improved communication, and healthier relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.

• Minimum of one year of clinical experience providing therapy as a licensed LMFT is necessary.
