Your Role in the Team

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a range of ultrasound exams including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, clearly explaining each step with care
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee the highest quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
• Accurately document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on ultrasound imaging advancements and best practices

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
