WFH Invoice Clerk / Payroll Clerk

This is a remote position.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoice Clerk / Payroll Clerk to work remotely. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll administration, and ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees and vendors. The ideal candidate has strong data entry skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Invoice Clerk Duties
- Review, verify, and process incoming invoices.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Enter invoice data accurately into accounting systems.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies by communicating with vendors and internal departments.
- Maintain organized digital records of invoices and payment documentation.
- Prepare reports on accounts payable activities as needed.
Payroll Clerk Duties
- Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule.
- Verify timesheets, attendance records, and payroll data.
- Calculate wages, deductions, overtime, commissions, and bonuses.
- Maintain employee payroll records and update information as required.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
- Assist with payroll tax filings and compliance requirements.
- Generate payroll reports for management and accounting teams.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
- Previous experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or administrative support.
- Proficiency with payroll and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks , ADP Workforce Now , Microsoft Excel ).
- Strong data entry and numerical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup.
Work Environment
