Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:45 - 19:15 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: RN Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience in rehabilitation or inpatient setting Description: This is a state-of-the-art, inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced a loss of function due to injury or illness. The facility offers intensive, patient-focused, specialized rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. Customized, intense rehabilitation is tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The aim is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. The unit comprises 52 beds, all private, with a current census of 35. Patient ratios are 1:5. Equipped with CERNER EHR. The patient population includes those with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, amputations, and patients requiring isolation, tracheostomy care, and wound care. Restraints are utilized, and the average patient stay is 12 days.
