Retail Supervising Pharmacist | Lewisburg, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead operations and foster a collaborative environment in their Sunbury, PA location. This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic role managing the pharmacy team, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and driving business growth through clinical programs and customer engagement.


Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and communicate department and company strategies.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of all prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and final quality assurance.
• Manage inventory, track sales, and order pharmaceuticals to meet customer demands and maximize profitability.
• Align department performance with key metrics to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service, resolving issues and offering healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, overseeing training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized workspace.
• Interact with healthcare providers to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory management, and will-call processing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and develop pharmacy staff.

Schedule:

• Approximately 69 hours bi-weekly.
• Shifts vary between 9:00 AM-7:00 PM (10-hour shifts), 9:00 AM-8:00 PM (11-hour shifts), and 8:00 AM-8:00 PM or 9:00 AM-9:00 PM (12-hour shifts).
• Variable day and afternoon shifts.
