Position Summary

Our client in Pico Rivera is seeking an Accounting Clerk with strong AP/AR experience to support their growing accounting department. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with high-volume invoices in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume AP invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely entry.
• Match, code, and reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
• Review and verify payment approvals and supporting documentation.
• Assist with accounts receivable duties, including posting payments and generating aging reports.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally.
• Prepare and maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
• Assist with weekly check runs, payment batches, and billing.
• Support month-end closing activities as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth invoice flow and accurate financial data.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recent experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Experience processing high-volume invoices (preferred 200+ per week, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude.
